Northeast Weather Action's Latest Detailed Forecast

           Tropical Storm Dorian is located at 14.3N and 29.9W, and currently moving west-northwestward at around 21 miles an hour. This low pressure system has a tight circulation but is moving into a region with dry air and cooler water temperatures in the upper 70's. However the storm will enter warmer water temperatures by late Thursday. Upper level winds are favorable for intensification in the region but by Tomorrow the upper level winds as well as the ocean temperatures will become less conducive an strengthening.    

 The track of Tropical Storm Dorian is westward and possibly WNW moving towards the Dominican Republic in the next few days. At this time this storm has a medium threat of landfall and if did, would likely anywhere from the Northern Florida Coast to around Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
