So far this summer we have had heat wave after heat wave and some people may not even heard of a cool down in the past month. But after a warm beginning and middle to July, some much needed relief is on the way. a trough diving south from Canada almost like what you would see in winter will first impact the Northern Plains and Great Lakes region, and into the Northeast. Overall widespread 70's and low 80's will be the common highs jut about everywhere in the region with even some upper 60's in Northern New England.
The overnight lows will likely fall into the upper 50's and lower 60's region-wide. But after the next 5 days, it's looking like temperatures will rebound into the upper 70's to upper 80's in the area with even a possible warm up in the long range forecast. Here is a map displaying the daytime highs over the next 5 days and don't forget, we are only about 33% through summer! Thanks for reading and stay right here for the latest updates on not only the temperatures but Tropical Storm Dorian, which will be the main focus over the next week or so! Stay safe and have a great rest of you day!
