Summer Heat In Sight? Find Out!

With the longer days and schools letting out soon here in the northeast, some people might wonder when the true summer heat will arrive. Many areas this past weekend didn't even make it to 70 degrees across the area. Now this is far below normal from where we should be and many people want warmer temperatures. So when will the heat come, well I may have the answer. Some models that are for long range like the GFS show a big ridge in late May into early June, with the eastern US getting pounded with temperatures 10 - 20 degrees above average. Now although the this is not written in stone, the chance of this occurring looks pretty good. Here are some models indicating this possible warm up, this is a short post due to the concentration on the approaching severe weather outbreak for areas here in the northeast.
