Ohio Winter Outlook

          Ohio will not see a normal winter this year, but slightly in favor of snow lovers. Overall, they will be effected greatly be Colorado Lows, Appalachian Runners, Eastern Great lakes Cutters, and Alberta Clippers. This is combined with the lake effect snow off of Lake Erie, which should be very active until it freezes over sometime in January or February. Temperatures should be below average by as much as 4 degrees, and be one of the coldest states in the whole United States this winter. Overall, Ohio will have a pretty good winter! Southern New England Winter Outlook

          This winter will be a little more harsh than normal in Southern New England. By this I mean there is the possibility of 2 to 4 major winter storms, with a couple moderate to light snow events. They will see the majority of their snow off of Nor'easters, Colorado Lows, and Alberta Clippers. Temperatures should be slightly below average in Southern New England. Overall, this winter will be similar to last winter, but a little bit more active, with most likely no Nemo. Pennsylvania Winter Outlook

          This winter, Pennsylvania will experience a wild ride between frigid temperature swings and significant winter storms (storm above 12"). They will also see some moderate winter storms. Colorado Lows, Alberta Clippers, and Nor'easters will be the most active storm to impact Pennsylvania. Also, the southern jet stream should keep most of the state cold almost all winter, and also setting a nice storm track right to Pennsylvania. New Jersey Winter Outlook

          New Jersey will see a winter slightly out different. They will experience warm and cold temperature swings, with generally when everything is set and done, slightly below normal temperatures. As far as snowfall, they will see the majority of their snowfall between Colorado Lows, Nor'easters, and Alberta Clippers. New Jersey will see average to slightly above average snowfall. New York Winter Outlook

          This winter, new York will be a slit state. Overall the Northern and Western parts will see below average temperatures and slightly above average snowfall/lake effect. For the Eastern and Southern new York regions, around slightly below average snowfall and slightly above average snowfall is the forecast. Northern New England Winter Outlook

          Northern New England will be e unique area for the upcoming winter. Overall, we expect slightly below average temperatures for the majority of the winter with several major winter snowstorms, and moderate events as well. They will mainly see their snow from Nor'easters, Strong Alberta Clippers, Appalachian Runners, and Elevated Great Lakes Runners. Maryland Winter Outlook

          This year, Maryland will have a wet, wild, and white winter. They will be interacted by Nor'easters, Alberta Clippers, and Colorado Lows. But definitely not every storm will be all snow, except possibly the Western Mountains. Besides that area, Northern Maryland should see mainly snow events with a few mixed storm, which could be on the heavy side. Central and Southern Maryland should see several mixed rain/snow/ice events. There will be several significant storms, as well as moderate events. Virginia Winter Outlook

          This winter, Virginia should see a well balanced winter, like they are used to seeing. There should be several mixed events, with possibly a few all snow events in the mountains and in the northern counties. They will see a few Nor' easters, Appalachian Runners, Alberta Clippers, and Colorado Lows. Snowfall should be on the order of about 120% of the average. Temperatures should range anywhere from near normal to slightly below normal. This is the general description of what you should expect this winter in Virginia.   1. hi josh adams what do you think my snow fall average we be this winter 2013 2014 here my area zipcode 45042 beside last winter i had an average winter my overall snow fall total was 22.5 now that's about average so do you think i going to get above average snow fall this winter or not

    3. do you think Long Island will get a lot of snow because during Nemo, at first, they were only predicting 1-4 inches and we ended up getting one of the highest totals.
